what do we do?

the bunch of people who have liked our page right at the outset of our adventure into the social platforms, must be wondering what is foodos and what does it do? (except for a few friends who already know every tile of the blue-print of our business plan) now, we are little far from coming to the point where we could actually provide you with the services that we are designing or have designed, and we are way far from the collective goal that we have put up before us, the way we see the food industry of the country undergoing a renaissance and us being a part of it, trivial if not major.
but we think, we hope, we would reach to it in a very small duration of time. we are collecting as much resources as we can and we are ready to bootstrap the hell out until we attain a visible position. an idea, that has grown extensively and has taken a shape of a startup, grew because deep down, we have a vision; a dream. to be very fair, its not as much personal as it is social. we, the foodos team, has had a childhood habit of simplifying things for others, be it folding a newspaper multifold and placing it beneath one leg of grandfather's chair so it would not rack, or making a cardboard house for stray dogs infront of our house despite being scolded by mother. we have always been ahead when it comes to solving the obstacles and making ways. that instinct has been solely responsible in making that niche thought of doing something, expand into a full fledged entrepreneurial gesture.
let the whole package be a surprise for a while, as we figure out all the remaining intricacies and solve out the equations. sit back and relax. wander and eat. dance and drink. we will be bringing some really creative things that you might not have experienced in your lifetime (we know we haven't). to end with, Hope is a good thing. and good things never die.
a Very Good Morning To All Of You fOOdOs.

how a date should go?

there are only two times your heart might skip a prolonged beat. one when you loose your flying-genity on a window seat of a wretched air-india plane and the other, when you go on your first date. the nervousness than runs in your veins, unstoppable sweats on forehead, i guess its equally tensed for both the boy and the girl. but maybe its less for the hotter one of the two.
there are some ground rules, or protocols, or commandments as some nerds call them. for now, they are just some advises to keep in mind.
1) CHOOSE an awesome restaurant. food can be a great turn-on, or a disastrous turn off.
2) DO not seem to be too enthusiastic, or desperate. also, don't be like you are forced to sit there.
3) TREAT her like a real, existing women. not like a angel fallen on earth.
4) BE confident. this has worked since the man walks on two legs.
5) IF its the first, keep the date short, creative. end with a swift kiss ;)

does hunger equal to poor?

google search 'hunger' and go to images.
what did you expect?
well, delicious meals lying on the dining table, or candle light dinners, or people gobbling on burgers and pizzas and sipping on shakes!
what did you find?
hungry, mal-nutritioned african kids with their hands in mouths.
now, i feel very strongly for them though i could do so little out of my own indulgence or selfishness.
but is that right?
why is hunger wired with poverty and stinginess?
is hunger also not a sign of being alive?
is hunger not the first step to contention?

just something to think about!

welcome foodos!

I eat, You eat, everybody eats.
but if you eat just because it counts in your daily chores, or its a mere necessity for calorie intake,
BUGGER OFF!
this side of the internet is not for you.
but those who understand the delight of what food is, the feeling of reaching the spiritual entity when cheese rolls in your mouth, or when desserts touch your tongue; those who savor every bite they take in. I welcome you with open arms, my fellow foodos.
if i may, i would like to begin this fantabulous journey with briefing you a little about myself. i am shubham sharma, i am from indore basically but i am currently in pune graduating from MIT in the field of mechanical engineering. call it a passion, or obsession, or eternal love, or something to be frowned upon. for me it is food. i love eating. a good meal has taken me out of breakups, depressions, carrier worries. several fights have been solved over a burger, and several girls i have lost for i may have been too busy enjoying a bite of pizza.
this trait of mine would not be a surprise if only you are familiar with the place that i hail from. Indore, a city which is extensively famous for the delicious things it has to offer. whether it be steaming hot jalebi's or 'ghamandi' lassi or 'gf kachories', the place has been a undeniable reason why i love the things that taste good. but more on that later.
if i like eating. i should just eat, right. why opening a blog to write about it? well, i feel it would only taste better if it is shared. i couldn't eat the whole candy alone (though i could, i wouldn't!), and so here am i. offering you a piece from the pie. my beloved foodos, join me and share with me too, your likes and your dislikes. i couldn't promise the world will be a better place tomorrow, but with you and i together, we could bring some delicious changes here and there!
adios.
